A social evening of food and CPD brought to you by the Royal Counties Veterinary Association. Eat, chillax, meet friends and make new ones.

Contextualised care is a "hot-topic". The concept is gaining traction across the veterinary sector as it allows us to think about the way we deal with current and future challenges, recognising the many factors that influence decision making in the real-life situations we face in practice. Training consultant Ruth Serlin* from VDS Training will be visiting in person to discuss the topic of contextualised care, considering how it can help the profession manage the expectations and concerns of clients in an increasingly challenging veterinary environment. Ruth’s overriding goal at VDS Training is to help veterinary professionals recognise and develop their expertise in professional communication because she absolutely believes this is the key to thriving in practice.

We will also discuss and recruit for the future of the RCVA - see below

Food: Freshly cooked 10" wood-fired Pizza with a variety of meat and veggie topping available from the "Pizza Al Forno" pizza van from 7 pm through to 7.45pm. OVS will provide comfortable indoor space to chomp away and we will provide some soft drinks (or bring your own). They can cater for all so let me know if you have a special dietary requirement or want salad or garlic bread, if you have not already. (One vegan (DW) and one gluten-free (LH)).
